I got something for my F100.
2011 Crown Vic front suspension. 4 wheel drum brakes, twin I beams, and crazy loose steering, can go to hell.

NIIIIIIIIIIICE.
I assume some fab is in order, but that looks awesome.

Shockingly almost nothing needs to be done to swap this out with the Twin I Beam stuff. It is almost a direct bolt-in setup.
There will still be plenty of cuss words said but it will be relatively easy.

Update early and often. Please?
I’ve been curious about this “swap” since the first getyousomeofthat Fast ‘N Loud shop truck.

Absolutely, I will update as often as I can. The plan is for this to slide in, a huge cam swap into the 300 that is in it, it is already running a pretty big cam. Swap the rear end for either a IRS T-Bird set up or a 4 link with an S197 rear end. And then swap the 300 out for a 2JZgte.

That’s a helluva plan. Keeping the “4.9” is awesome!

It has been awesome so far. The truck was originally a 240 but lost compression in the #5 cylinder. So a 300 went in and then a Comp Cams Cam, and now I have a bigger Iskey cam to slap in there.
I want to keep it an I6 truck, so I figured when I am done with the 300 a 2JZ would be great. I would LOVE a Barra but importing from Australia is a pain and parts would be impossible, so a 2JZGTE will be what ends ups going in. I am sure that will piss plenty of people off as well, so all the better.

No reasoning needed on a JZ swap. I’m more interested in the suspension.
That old Iron Brick has support though.
